SOCIETE PERRIER: Famous for their minimalist aesthetic, Copenhagen designers seemed to convene in a plot to surprise (and delight?) us with some of the weirdest designs ever to grace the runways of their bi-annual Fashion Week shows. Though some designers got just a tad creative with accessories, others went all out with their wacky head-to-toe creations. So, are the looks fashion-forward or just faux-pas?  You be the judge.

1. Anne Sofie Madsen

Having worked with both the houses of John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, it isn’t surprising that Anne Sofie prefers to inject her designs with a touch of the dramatic. Her Autumn/Winter 2014 collection entitled Sirens of Chrome seems to be inspired by cosmic, all black Power Rangers.

2. Chinese New Year

For the past two years, Gallery International Fashion Fair has joined forces with Mode Shanghai to present an eclectic exchange of designs and ideas represented in each respective city. This year, the quirky surfer-meets-the-Flintstones look from Autumn/Winter  2014 was a crowd pleaser in a train-conductor-meet-bathroom-shag-rug kind of way(Full Article)
