Drinking In… Cannes (when there isn’t a film festival)

Cannes is filled with the merriment of party-loving visitors from late spring until early September. But it’s during the late summer months that the town really comes to life: mega yachts can be spotted hosting seemingly endless parties, while local bars and clubs fill with rambunctious crowds until closing time at 7.30 a.m. No one is immune from the revelry — which often begins with chance meetings at crowded outdoor tables and usually involves several Jeroboam-size bottles of champagne being splashed around in frenzied excitement that carries on throughout the day(Full Article)
